Material Availability  

Twin Ferrule, Front Ferrule and Back Ferrule are available in Titanium Grade 2 Fittings (Ti Gr 2), Monel 400, Monel 500, Carbon Steel, Hastelloy C 276, Incoloy 800 (Alloy 800), Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 32750, Inconel 600, Inconel 625, SS 304 (Stainless Steel 304), Stainless Steel 316 (SS 316), Inconel 825, Brass (Grade IS 319). Most common are Stainless Steel ferrule fittings tubing Twin Ferrule, Front Ferrule and Back Ferrule.

Purpose of Double Ferrule

To connect pipes or tubes with assembly of Nut and Ferrule. Ferrules bites onto the pipes/tubes providing a leak proof connection. The front ferrule is classically designed to provide a cover between the ferrule, tubing and fitting body, while the back ferrule holds the tubing and grips the front ferrule in the proper position.
